Courses will be offered provided a sufficient number of currently enrolled customers have pre-registered their interest. Final registration for courses will be conducted through a work2future training specialist.

Course Description:   The 80 hour, Restorative and Rehabilitation Therapy Aide program prepares Certified Nursing Assistants for employment as aides in restorative and rehabilitation therapy settings.  Rehabilitation Therapy Aides work in the therapy department under the supervision of the Therapist in hospitals, long term care and clinic settings.  Restorative Aides work under the supervision of the registered Nurse.  Training includes classroom, lab and clinical instruction in therapeutic interventions and approaches to care.

This program is designed to provide the optimal physical, mental, and psychological functioning of the resident through ambulation training, range of motion exercises, activities of daily living training, and mobility, among others to enhance his/her quality of life.

  • Theoretical: 40 hours
  • Clinical and Skills Lab: 40 hours; held at a healthcare facility
